Product Safety

Are Little Belle nightlights safe?

Yes! Little Belle nightlights are independently safety tested and certified to comply with all regulatory safety requirements for lighting in Childrens bedrooms.

Our nightlights are safety tested to conform to all Australian, New Zealand, UK, & EU safety standards and are CE, RCA & UKCA approved.

Do Little Belle nightlights get hot?

Little Belle nightlights do not get hot. They use low voltage 5V LED lighting so can safely be left on all night.

Are Little Belle nightlights free from Blue light?

Our nightlights are safety tested for photobiological risk and are exempt from Blue light, UV, and infrared radiation so they do not upset important sleep patterns.

Orders & Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

We are pleased to accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple pay, Goigle Pay & Shop pay.

We also accept payment using Afterpay and Laybuy, however please be aware that we are a New Zealand business and orders paid for using Afterpay or Laybuy will be charged in the New Zealand dollar equivilant.

Do you offer customisation?

We are not able to offer customisation at this stage.

What happens after I place an order?

Once you have placed an order you will receive a confirmation email. When your order has been packed and is ready to send you will receive another email with tracking details.

Can I change my order?

Should you need to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible; we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please note that we cannot guarantee that your order may be adjusted once it has been submitted.

What happens if one of my items is 'pre-order'?

If you purchase an item that is 'pre-order', as well as a product that is currently in stock, the order will be shipped when the pre-order item has arrived. If you would like to split the shipment, please load separate orders.

We send our products from our locations in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping charges are calculated at the checkout depending on your shipping destination.

Are there any customs/duty charges?

There are no customs or duty charges for customers in the United Kingdom, Australia, USA or New Zealand.

Customers in other countries may be subject to local charges. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Little Belle cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and Little Belle will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.

We cannot mark international orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been packed and is ready to send you will receive an email with the tracking number. Tracking details will update once your order has been collected by the courier.

If you are not able to locate the email with tracking details, please check your email junk/spam folder.

If your order is showing as delivered but you have not received it, please contact the courier company with your tracking number in the first instance.

Please allow extra days for delivery to rural addresses.

Returns & Exchanges

What is the returns policy?

Returns

Only products purchased directly from our online store (www.little-belle.com) can be returned using the procedure described below. If you purchased your products at a retail store or from another website these products must be returned to the original store or site which they were purchased from.


You may return ‘as new’ items to us within 14 days from the date of delivery. We class “as new” condition as unused and packaged as dispatched. Remotes that have been removed from their covers and activated by pulling out the small piece of clear plastic at the base of the remote are no longer considered ‘as new’.


We recommend that you return goods using a tracked and signed service and retain proof of postage. We are not liable in respect of missing items or shipping costs for items missing in transit.


Please allow 5 business days after the item/s have been received back to us for our returns team to inspect and approve the refund.


Shipping costs from the original order are not refunded. Shipping costs for retuned items are the responsibility of the buyer.

Sale Items - Discounted products & Promotional items

There are no returns on sale items/promotional items unless they are found to be faulty. Please choose carefully.

Exchanges

As our nightlights are made in small batches we are unable to process exchanges.

You can return your item to us and then place a new order to receive the item of your choice.

What happens if I receive a faulty item?

Occasionally items can sneak through our quality control. We understand that having a faulty item isn't a great experience, we try to make sure we resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.

If you receive an item you believe to be faulty, please contact us within 5 days.

In most cases we will request images or video of the fault (if applicable) so the fault can be assessed before advising you on the next course of action.

What comes with the nightlights?

Each nightlight comes with:

1 x remote control (Usable distance between 1-2 metres).

1 x USB cord (1.5 metre length).

1 x instruction manual.

USB adapter not supplied - USB cords can be plugged into any approved 5V USB adapter.

Do the nightlights have red light setting?

Yes our nighlights have the option of a red light setting which make them perfect for baby nurserys. Red based light has a much higher wavelength than white/blue/green light, which research shows does not inhibit melatonin.  The red light is also much loved by parents with middle of the night nappy changes and feeds.

How do your nightlights help children sleep?

It's not uncommon for children to grow afraid of the dark as they get older. When their brains start to change, they begin to develop an imagination. Nightmares can begin as early as 2 years of age and when nightly fears develop, adding a childrens light could provide some comfort to your child. 

Our magically themed designs help little bring a touch of magical comfort to toddler sleep routines.

Calling upon fairies as children go to sleep at night is a psychologist endorsed method to help them relax into a good night of sleep. Children can talk about their worries as you settle them into bed at night and you can ask a fairy to come and watch over them while they sleep.

How do you operate Little Belle nightlights?

Base button - Press ON > Dark white > Bright White > RGB
breathing > RGB Skip > pause color > OFF

Press and hold the base button for 2 seconds to power off
during operation.

The nightlight can be powered using the internal rechargeable
battery or plugged into an approved 5V USB adapter using the USB cable supplied.

The remote control will be in stand-by mode for 1 hour after the nightlight has been turned on. After 1 hour the remote will automatically disable from the nightlight to save the remote battery, to power the nightlight on again press the power button on the base.
